Ma Ling

 

I am Ma Ling and this is the flowchart of my tasks. First of all i need to find the place that provide Kelantanese food. Secondly, i need to provide the information on the place that famous in kelantan and food that the place have. Lastly is design an animation using Flash for the group's website with Hafiza Subari.

Pasar Besar Siti Khadijah - it is a MUST place to visit when in Kelantan

Pasar Besar Siti Khadijah is a central wet market that is located in the heart of Islamic City of Kota Bharu. As a wet market, as normal, it sell fresh fish likes one-finlet scad, round herring, long-tail shad, Spanish mackerel, tunny fish, pomfret, Indian mackerel, sea-bream and others. There are also freshwater fish such as striped snakehead, catfish, eel and others. Also we can buy from here chicken meats, beef, eggs and all sort of vegetables such as cabbages, long bean, chilli, aubergine, cauliflower, gourd, okra, lemon grass, lettuce and many other types of vegetables. This market also sells fruits which are normally locals such as ciku, guava, jackfruit, many types of mangoes, binjai, cempedak, orange, durian, mangosteen, watermelon, hog plum, langsat, papaya, pineapples, duku, banana, starfruit and many more. We also can get some of foreign fruits likes datepalms, grapes, lychee, mata kuching, apples, mandarin oranges(during Chinese New Year festival). Also this market sells local foods likes "kuih-muih"(some sort of cake but not so)dodol, baulu, kuih bangkit, curry puff, tapai, seri muka, onde-onde, kuih lapis, tepung talam. The name of this "kuih-muih" cannot be translated at all into English due to its gap between west and east regarding this very big. This market also have eateries for buying drinks and eating foods especially Kelantan food. For anyone who cannot tolerate the sweetness in drinks better reminding the seller before making drinks likes hot tea with milk, iced tea with milk to lessen the quantity of the sugar. Other than that this market also sells local foodstuff which are very hard to be found outside Kelantan likes Malay kuih of Kelantanese dodol, lebung buaya. There is a type of kuih made from glutinuos rice(the glutinuous rice normally green in colour)which is at the outside about two inches long, covered with grated coconut, and the inside is cooked ripe banana

Group's Flash

Hafiza and I have worked together in preparing an animation for group's webpage. We admit this is the most hard task for us as we both new in this software.

First, change the stage properties. At the bottom of the properties inspector the dimensions of the current stage are set at 550 x 400 pixels. > click edit button >Width and Height boxes, enter pixel dimensions. Width with 640 and Height with 300, then choose background colour to dark grey (#333333).

To import more images, go to File > Import > Import to Library.To insert more images in the background, need to add more layers in the timeline. To do that, go to Insert > Timeline > Layer.

To insert frame, select background layer and point to the 65 frame.

Drag the image of Nasi kerabu and Nasi dagang from library to the background. And drag all images from library to the background one by one in orders.

To put more images in, select the layer from the layer panel, select layers of the images one by one > select frame 65 > choose insert > timeline > frame.  

 

After all images had put in orders > go to Create Classic Tween.

To change the colour of the images > go to colour effect > tint.

Now it’s all done! And now run it to see how it works. Later save it under swf format and to insert in the group’ website, open Dreamweaver software > file > Open > select the website’s background. Then to insert the flash in the Dreamweaver > Insert > Media > and open the flash file that saved under swf.
